Art has always been a form of expression where Mirtha has felt very comfortable in being herself. It’s an absolute stress reliever and it makes her very happy. She’s influenced by all the support of her teachers and fellow peers. These drawings bring joy to her because she had fun doing them. She quotes “Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable.” (Cesar Cruz). She was able to challenge herself and discover new aspects of herself as an artist. She hopes to integrate art into her future.
