Through out the month of September tragedy struck in various places because of the season of hurricanes. Through the month of August through September there has been a total of four hurricanes all ending in destruction of houses, people, and the economy. Over the past months there has been floods and massive rain all due to the hurricanes that keep creeping up around the southern part of the USA and many countries outside of the US which include, Cuba, Haiti, Puerto Rico, and many states surrounding the area.

Hurricane Maria caused much destruction when it came to Puerto Rico and the people who lived in that country. When hurricane Maria was about to hit it was predicted to be a category 5 hurricane right after Katia hit. When Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico, everything was shut down including the power grid, cell phone towers, and the system of banks.
The storm was so bad that the people in charge of responding first to hurricanes had to take shelter and save their own lives.

Hurricane Maria had been the most intense storm ever since the year of 1928 and a powerful storm that had hit Puerto Rico. Hurricane Maria had traveled across the northeastern Caribbean towards Puerto Rico.

The beautiful island of Puerto Rico turned pitch black and no one had known what was going on at the moment of the hurricane hitting the island. Puerto Rico’s government describe it as Puerto Rico just collapsing and then everything turned into castrophe. The hurricane had cause about 78 deaths each spreading from Dominica, five in the Dominican Republic, two in Guadeloupe, three Haiti, and thirty-four in Puerto Rico. The island of Guadeloupe suffered many flash floods while Puerto Rico suffered from floods, economy damage, and damage of the electrical grid.

Many of the people of the USA do their best to help out the islands that were affected by the horrific hurricane Maria. Even our own President Trump was seen talking to the people of Puerto Rico, giving his own condolences and giving out supplies to those who were in need of it.
