Lauren Buss is a freshman Spartist with a very bright and creative mind, currently in Mixed Media, taught by Mr. Rawson. At the moment in mixed media, she is working on a color wheel and it is looking to be one of the best out of the entire class. Lauren’s favored media is using pencil as an art tool, due to her great ability at sketching and drawing. However her outstanding drawings are only a small portion of what qualifies her for the Spartist of the Quarter. The friendliness she presents with her classmates and her wonderful personality are also traits that stood out to her teacher that gave her this spot. Being an artist does not just require skill in art, it also requires great creativity and a very large capacity for problem solving, and this quarter, Lauren Buss displayed just that.
