The 2017-18 season for Girls Swim has been under way for more than two weeks now. There have been two meets so far and the team is 2-0. The varsity team is populated with new and old swimmers and this new group of freshman brought some promising addition to the team.
Their first two meets have been important to the swimmers in the case that the meets illustrate how much work and training is needed to get back into swim shape. After only about three weeks of training, the meets mean slower times and goals for the rest of the season. The swimmers are prepared to work hard to get their personal best scores and meet their goals.

New swimmers on the varsity level include, Claire E, Maddie C, and Zeren C, all swimmers are working hard to meet their goals, training well in order to do well during the season and have a good year.
Seniors like Eleanor F, and Patty G, and others, are hopeful for their graduating season, and have been training to make this year the best it can be.

The season and it’s new additions has brought a hopeful outlook to the possibilities of the team. In the future the swimmers will continue to train and get strong with high hope for the season. Come out to support your fellow Spartans! Swim meets are on Tuesdays, and swim senior night is on Thursday, September 21st!
