On February 9th, NHS will once again host “Sock the Court” during the varsity basketball game at OLCHS. Sock the court is a charity event that collects socks to be distributed to our communities homeless shelters.
Socks are always in high demand in homeless shelters and among those in need, as they keep people’s feet warm and dry, preventing blisters and infection.
To donate, bring at least one new pair of socks to the varsity game. At halftime, there will be an opportunity to throw them down to the gym floor, and even be a chance to win a prize! By joining the fun, you will surely make someones life a bit warmer… so bring those socks!
