The Boys won the Conference Championship this season, the second season in a row. This led to Ramiro Garcia being the individual Conference Champion. After winning their conference, they continued on to the Illinois High School Association regional where they placed second. Sectional was a tough day, it was the strongest Sectional in the state and underperformed. Some of the key players for the varsity were Garcia and junior Sam Bergamo, they had the highest averages on the team. Sophomore Gavin Rybicki, freshman Charlie Dell, and freshman Justin Canvin will all be returning players. Coach Walery said, “We accomplished a lot this season, and will need to get back to work in the offseason season.” The team is looking forward to a three-peat.
