NAHS Teaches Aspiring Artists
On February 15th, student volunteers from the National Art Honor Society hosted a virtual art camp where middle school students could join a Google Meet and learn how to make a variety of artwork. Students learned how to make portraits, paint with washable markers, and make their names into a cool kaleidoscope design (pictured). NAHS sponsor Mrs. Cooper says, “This activity was mutually beneficial for student teachers and participating student artists. NAHS students were able to demonstrate leadership skills they may not have known they possessed. It was wonderful to watch the participant and student teacher interactions.” We look forward to hosting another art camp soon!
