Do you like to raise money for charity and help others? Do you also enjoy listening to music and like to go to school and community events? Well on Thursday November 9th, the Choir Department is hosting their first annual Charity of Voices Choral Concert. The concert will feature two of Oak Lawn’s Choirs, Ancora and Bella Armonia, as well as others from Reavis High School, Richards High School, and St.Xavier University. This concert is being held at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Burbank, IL. At the concert the Music Boosters will be collecting monetary donations to support a local charity, Together We Cope, an organization based out of Tinley Park helping many from the communities in our area.

Together We Cope is a homeless prevention agency that provides financial assistance in the form of past due rent, mortgage and utility payments to families in a temporary crisis in which they are not able to stay in their homes. So this organization helps those who are struggling with money and are there to help people get back on their feet.
