Nobody expects to wake up to a horrific massacre especially in a place where people go to enjoy themselves, but on Sunday October, 1st of 2017, a brutal killing spree happened in Las Vegas, Nevada. A man by the name of Stephen Paddock took the lives of many people and wounded many others who ran for their lives as he fired his weapons. Numbers of murdered civilians went from 20 to 30 and now finalized as 58 pronounced dead and the five hundred and fifteen people wounded.

In the route 91, a Harvest Country Music Festival was being held for the people of Vegas and for people who came to visit the famous city to enjoy music. Roughly around 10:05pm, Stephen Paddock, decided to end that peace with bullets that went straight to the crowd. Before the whole incident happened, Stephen Paddock decided to take out the guard six minutes before he decided to bring terror to Los Vegas.

Paddock was known as real estate investor and was 64 years old. Paddock didn’t have a criminal background and didn’t have any associations with terrorists. When his family was interviewed by ABC news, they claimed that Paddock was just a gentlemen and a sweet guy. His family was rather shocked when they heard that their own family member had committed such a crime and can’t believe that he was capable of such an act.

Paddock decided to take his own life at the day of the shooting when police found him.. The whole situation didn’t take long when Paddock decided to start at 10:05pm and ending at 10:17pm. He had an estimated of 23 guns stocked in his room alone all tampered to shoot multiple rounds of bullets at once.

He was at the top of floor 32 when he broke two windows and began to fire at the people. It was a tragedy for music lovers who lost their loved ones in this horrific event. Many sources are releasing that Paddock also checked in near Grant park, during the festival of Lalapolooza. During that time he didn’t show up to his reservation, little did the world know what he was going to do next.

Police officers started to investigate the motive behind Paddock going on a killing spree in Nevada, although many theories claim that he was not alone and many claim he was capable of doing this on his own. Although the world mourns the losses of loved one, many are still curious to why he decided to rain bullets onto the crowd of Los Vegas.
