Even guys can do it!

As the seasons change, we are constantly faced with the same yearly dilemma:
“How am I gonna change up my look this year?”
“What aesthetic am I trying to achieve today?”
“Am I feeling more 90s chic, or sporty boho?
And so, I’ve come to you all with a few do’s and don’ts for this autumn to keep you modern, trendy, and living in the moment! High school should be a time where anyone can feel free to express themselves however they want, so ditch those same worn-out jeans, put away that same graphic tee, and find yourself a new style!
For starters, ditch the sweats. Athletic wear has evolved, and there is no reason to be caught in public looking like you just rolled out of bed. Pajamas are not cute, unless you’re rocking out a matching top and bottom set.
The first thing everyone needs to put on their fall fashion to-do list are knitted sweaters! No matter the occasion, anyone can make a statement with a shades of autumnal hues, such as deep reds and oranges. Don’t be afraid to get in touch with your seasonal side!
Another trend that has recently swept the nation– pastels! Pastel tops, bottoms, hair color, basically anything! Washed out colors have taken over the latest department stores, and now the look that everyone is trying to achieve is usually centered around lilacs, baby blues, and even lightly shaded peaches. It gives off a casual, careless vibe that still comes off as very tasteful and new. Solid colors are so last year.
Lastly, the final step towards achieving any worthwhile fashion statement can be answered in two quick, easy ways. Layers and cuffing. With these two simple little tricks, a jacket and jeans can turn into a sophisticated look that says “It’s 2016 and I know who I am.”
